The Foundation

Building the Future of Academic I/O

The Foundation is a separate initiative from Membership & Community. It exists to build programs, platforms, and pathways that strengthen academic systems, and to invite the community to help build them.

Dream Building Academy and the HBCU I/O Psychology Task Force are Foundation initiatives. They are not included with membership; each is a distinct initiative with its own roadmap and community.

Featured Program

Dream Building Academy

A 10-week virtual Future Leader & Career Readiness pilot for high-school students in grades 9 to 12, building leadership, career readiness, and AI literacy, with priority for BIPOC youth, first-generation students, and under-resourced learners.

A Field-Building Collaboration

A collaboration between Blacks in I/O Psychology and The Academic I/O expanding awareness, access, and future pathways in I/O psychology for HBCU students and institutions.
