Community & Connection
Access to appropriate member conversations, Community Exchange, introductions, and peer relationships.
The Academic I/O Professional Community
Academic I/O Membership connects students, practitioners, researchers, consultants, and I/O-adjacent professionals who want to apply workplace science within educational environments.
Membership brings together professional community, research-to-practice learning, academic-systems resources, relationships, and appropriate opportunities to continue developing and contributing.
Each tier is an annual subscription. After purchase, you receive a registration code by email to create your account on the membership site.
What membership involves
Access to appropriate member conversations, Community Exchange, introductions, and peer relationships.
Selected research-to-practice resources, academic-fluency materials, recordings, and practitioner insights.
Relevant professional conversations organized by practice interest where leads and active programming are available.
Access or preferred pricing for eligible Practice Labs, learning programs, and selected development experiences according to your tier.
Notices concerning appropriate research collaborations, volunteer initiatives, speaking opportunities, and field-building activities. Notices and eligibility are not guaranteed assignments.
Monthly member gathering
A recurring member-centered professional gathering designed to support community connection, practitioner discussion, research-to-practice learning, professional questions, peer collaboration, and next-step opportunities.
The member Exchange is distinct from public Workplace Science in Practice LIVE programming. Additional recurring events are not announced unless scheduling and an owner are confirmed.
Peer communities
These are practice interests and member-routing areas. A community is shown as actively facilitated only when a lead or co-lead and operating structure are confirmed.
The planned monthly Academic I/O Community Exchange combines connection, a research-to-practice conversation and role-based Peer Community breakouts. This is the primary member rhythm rather than multiple new recurring event brands.
Belonging and peer conversations, subject to published member schedules.
Applied learning and supervised work have independent scope, eligibility and capacity requirements.
Credentials and project opportunities require separate evidence, reviews and approval.
Current checkout tiers and prices remain as displayed; any 2027 repricing requires a separate approval and checkout configuration update.

Established practitioners, consultants, supporters, and builders who want deeper access to The Academic I/O as it grows.
Clarity on each pathway
Each pathway below has its own purpose, requirements, and process. Membership sits alongside them rather than replacing them.
Professional belonging, community, resources, and access appropriate to tier.
Structured applied skill development using cases and feedback.
Supervised developmental experience with an approved project and supervisor.
Structured preparation in Academic I/O practice.
Separate professional preparation and assessment process with eligibility and review.
Selective professional readiness and opportunity infrastructure.
A future commercial pathway requiring separate criteria and agreements; not currently a membership purchase benefit.
What each member can open depends on their tier and permissions. These spaces are described here, not exposed publicly.
Access is granted through the member platform after purchase, according to tier.
Sustaining Membership + Builders Circle
Sustaining Members receive deeper proximity to selected pilots, released recordings and archives, Builder Briefings, structured feedback opportunities, recognition, and impact reporting. Their membership also helps expand access and development for students and emerging practitioners.
Sustaining Membership is not a consulting partnership and does not purchase RFP, referral, subcontracting, Talent Network, or paid-project access.
Future Commercial Pathway
The future Practice Partner Network is being designed for consulting firms, small businesses, and qualified practitioners seeking commercial ecosystem access around projects, RFPs, collaboration, referrals, and delivery opportunities.
It is not live yet. When launched, it will have separate pricing and separate readiness and participation requirements.
No current membership tier guarantees consulting projects, client referrals, RFP access, subcontracting, paid-project priority, or permission to deliver proprietary Academic I/O or LEADERS intellectual property.
Choose the tier that fits your current season. Membership is about belonging and development; certification, practicum, and professional delivery have separate requirements and processes. Your registration code arrives by email after purchase.
